Have You Ever Made a Mistake When Sending Crypto?

Many people make various mistakes when sending crypto, including errors in the blockchain, crypto address, memo/tag, fees, etc. Personally, I also made the mistake of not entering a tag/memo when sending TON. I sent from the TON Wallet in the Telegram app, and the 5 TON I sent never arrived in my CWallet account.

According to articles in Cryptopolitan and Yahoo Finance, on November 11, 2025, someone transferred 0.00010036 BTC (worth $10) to the Kraken crypto exchange, but entered the wrong amount and paid a fee of 0.99 BTC (worth $105,000).

So far i have never made any mistakes when it comes to sending crypto, i have always tried to be careful.
