There are instances where people make mistakes and probably add an extra zero to a payment they were supposed to make. Or simply overpay for a product or service only to realize later.

Have you ever overpaid? Was the excess refunded to you? What was the process?

If it is a formal business that you overpaid for something, you won't get any refunds. You must have to repurpose the money.

Yes this has happened to me before but luckily for me, the person was genuine, and he refunded back. Some customers have also paid extra to me that i had to refund.

I always try to be careful with what I pay for but I have encountered this once and I was refunded
