Have you ever participated on the cryptocurrency mining ?

I would like to learn from the people that have really in one or another way participated on the mining venture. What has been the experience like?

I try mining on my phone when a friend suggested it but it almost got my phone malfunction. I just had to stop

There was a time I wanted to give it a try but due to certain issues I was not able to in the end, I heard it no longer pays like it use to.

For me l have realized that mining is not done appropriately on the phone. Special machines are required for smooth and profitable mining.

Since the electricity cost in my country is very high, I never tried mining crypto with hardware, but before 2016, I participated in cloud mining which turned out to be a scam even though it was legit, it only gave a small reward. So I left the activity of mining crypto with cloud mining.
