Have you ever purchased an existing website?

For me l have never thought of buying an existing website because l think that, it's quite easier to create a new website than buying the existing one? What are your thoughts?

I have never bought an existing website because I prefer to set up my own. It's a rewarding experience to create a website from scratch, and it gives me a sense of security that I don't feel when acquiring an existing one.
