Have you ever skipped some meals for the sake of saving money?

I have not totally skipped a meal or two while saving what I only had. I am thankful that I am currently in a place where I got my sibling's back. I am on a budget so buying what I like to eat is not a luxury right now. But my sister cooks for us. My brother buys food as well. I contribute a little of what I have. But at least I can eat if needed.

I think life is becoming so difficult as the time goes by. This has forced some folks to the extent of skipping meals for them to save money for future use. What's your take on that?
With God's grace I didn't have to do that once I grew up but heard from my mother that she have to half feed us as my father had lost his job.

Well, the good thing is that you were still eating though not the dosage you had expected but it was still helpful

When I was young I have lived in hostels serving extremely poor quality food, because I could not afford to rent a flat in a metro city with my monthly salary and I was living far from my parents.

I can't afford to skip meal. I can't suffice at work hehe. I need to energize my body with nutritious food from breakfast to dinner. Let's not make a desperate move just to save because once you'll get sick, the. medicine price is more than crazy to think.

I have done this several times, especially when I was in school. There were days where I didn't even eat at all. Had to rely on water alone for the whole Day just to save money.
