I enjoy learning new things through TikTok videos, and today I learned about copy trading. In fact, this was not my first time hearing about it; I had heard it before but did not pay attention because just hearing the term "trading" made me quite anxious. Copy trading is the practice of copying the trades of more experienced traders. Have you tried this before?

I tried copy trading some years back thinking it would be the best option since my work gives me very little time to monitor trades and my trading skills are not that great. In the end I still lost my money.

As a copy trader you still need to understand that as retail traders we do not control the market movements, you stiil need to get the outcome from the trade. The key things why people tend to find trading not to be profitable aside the signal is the margin that they have.If you link your account to a master trader who has a huge margin then even a $100 will not be sufficient.

It is good to understand and back test the trade that is why you really need to know the trader who is providing you with signals or the master trader you have linked you account with.

I know of the way to make money through trading synthetic indices but you do need a $100 in your deriv account.

I only do copy trading with forex when I was trading with one broker call liteforex but let me tell you something even when you copy from those expert definitely not all the signal will be correct you will still have some loss trade
Yes, I figured. It is still risky so just use an amount that you can afford to lose. :D

If you get a good signal providers then you will make good profit and minimise your lose, but its trading and everyone is predicting the price and there is no 100% sure signal.
Yes, that is what I heard. It still risky to do. It is becoming more popular here in the Philippines because a lot of people do not know how to trade.

That is correct. Usually, they require more than $100. I'm hesitant to try it because I don't have enough money to copy trade. Maybe if I have some extra money, I'll give it a shot.

I am sorry to hear that. Copy trading comes with risks that is why I am quite hesitant to try it.

So it is a good way to make some extra money but there is a strategy at play if you are going to succeed at this. It would not be a wise idea for newbies to enter into copy trading. They can start with arbitrage trading and gain momentum because even in copy trading you need to ensure the strategy that is being used is fit for the investment that you have put up. You also need to ensure that the master trader is profitable.

I tried, but my experience was negative because I was sure that this kind of profit would definitely make me rich, because I believed that such traders definitely trade better than me. However, in addition to the fact that I did not earn much, those traders still took their share from me and therefore I did not earn anything at all in the end

Yes, there is a strategy, indeed. I think I will try arbitrage trading, but before I proceed, I will take the time to learn it. Thank you :)

I'm yet to try this one it seems it would be difficult for me. But one can make good money off it.

Yes, same here. It looks quite complicated and of course, there are risks involved. There is no assurance you will profit from it despite copying from a pro.

I am sorry to hear that. Copytrading comes with risks so it is better to study everything first before diving in.

Of course I have tried copy trading several times, but I consider it experience and copy trading is also very good for novice traders because we don't need to do research and learn directly from professionals, we can also study crypto market prices in real time. The risk is smaller than when we trade alone.
