Have you ever tried the strategy for offering free samples on newly created products on your business?

As a graphic designer i did some free designs for some persons so when they use it, it will be a sort of advertising. Luckily some of the people i did free samples for ended up referring others to me.

As a honey seller, I do give out samples for customers to taste and buy. I often make tremendous sales each time they taste. Some say they feel indebted to me after tasting it, others say they know I sell original honey so they buy and refer others.

That was what I did for the first two days opening of my milk tea business in the mall. They were offered free sample just a little contents of my milk tea so they can refer my milk tea business to their friends and families. It worked.

I actually enjoy the free sample idea because it’s a low-pressure way to grab attention. I’ve walked into shops planning not to buy, then ended up hooked after a free taste. It’s sneaky effective, as long as the product is good enough to turn that curiosity into repeat purchases.
