You can invest in the real estate in two ways, one, you buy properties, and two, you invest in real estate investment trust or REIT. REIT works just like stocks. Instead of buying the company, you buy certain number of stocks and become an investor of the company. With REIT, you invest in the company that manages real estate properties instead of making direct investment in the property. Have you invested in real estate through REIT?

No, I have not invested in REIT. Don't know enough to make the investment. I just bought an apartment for my own use. I am glad that the value of the apartment has appreciated over the years.

Real estate is a good industry to invest in. But it is highly money demanding but if you have the money go ahead it is worth it
