Have you sold on cash on delivery?

If you sell to the local customers, people in your city or even in your own country, you can offer cash on delivery option. This is a payment method that allows buyers to pay only after receiving the product. This option allows the buyer to shop with confidence. I sell through this option when I am selling locally. Do you use cash on delivery option for selling to your local customer?

Yes I have done this for some customers, but most times I usually tell them to pay a deposit first before I start the job.

I am a freelancer. I cannot offer this option for my translation service. Payment by client will only be made after I complete the translation. Here, most online retailers do not offer cash on delivery. They require customers to pay when placing the order.
