Have you successfully sold merchandise from your website

Selling merchandise is one of the very popular monetization methods, especially for websites that have huge traffic or have a a lot of subscribers. I have done this in the past and sold some merchandise like T-shirts, hoodies, mugs, phone covers. These days none of my websites are selling merchandise but I plan to introduce son. Have you sold merchandise from your website, were you successful?

Though I have not personally done that but I have seen people sell them on their sites and it has been a smooth sail.
