When you have a saving goal that puts you under pressure to meet up, you might be able to work harder to meet up. Having to save $20 everyday would motivate you to work very hard to meet up. Do you think pressing saving goals make us to work more to earn?

That's true. Although I personally don't apply pressing savings goals, in general, it's justified because you already have a definite and clear financial goal, such as saving for a wedding, which motivates you to work harder and manage your finances well.
