According to the report, a missing person's case in Massachusetts turned into a murder investigation when 29-year-old Sherell Pringle was found stabbed more than 200 times near a highway, just days after she vanished following a date.

The report also said that detectives quickly zeroed in on the man she’d been seeing, Bruce Maiben, who was arrested, later charged with murder, and ultimately found guilty after evidence showed he killed her when she tried to end their relationship.

In addition, it said that at sentencing, Sherell’s family confronted him with emotional statements, and Maiben was given life in prison without parole.


It is senseless. If you love someone, how can you kill them? Wouldn't you just beg them to get back together? Beautiful lady. I'm so sorry. Prayers for her family. At least, the killer was sentenced right away.

Yes, it is so scary, how can he kill his girlfriend multiple times by stabbing? That criminal boyfriend was evil. he did not pity the girl. Love goes wrong in different directions. If he only accepted the breakout, he would not land in prison.

That's right mate. He is just a coward killing someone from walking away. I'm sure he was violent in the relationship that's why she left him

That could be the possible reason for the girlfriend to leave her boyfriend. He might be tormenting her. He might be an abusive boyfriend. The multiple stabs mean he was so angry.
