According to the report, renewed sectarian clashes in southern Syria's Druze-majority Sweida province killed at least four people on August 3, a war monitor said. The Syrian government accused the Druze armed groups in Sweida of violating the July ceasefire deal amid renewed clashes in the restive province. At least four people, including three Syrian government forces and one local fighter, were killed amid fresh sectarian clashes in Sweida.
The UK-based war monitor Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that three security forces personnel were killed "as clashes erupted with local factions around Tal Hadid”. Tal Hadid, controlled by government security forces, is a "key control point" at a relatively high altitude, according to the monitor. Fighting also erupted around the city of Thaala, the Observatory said, "following bombardment of the area with shells and heavy weapons.”
This war is getting bolder every day. The leaders never think about the lives of innocent people. They have to fight where there are no people and buildings to satisfy their anger.
