According to the report, Hezbollah confirmed that Hashem Safieddine, the apparent successor of its slain leader Hassan Nasrallah, had been killed in an Israeli strike. Israel said on Tuesday that Safieddine was killed along with other Hezbollah leaders in an air strike in Beirut's southern suburbs three weeks ago.
The report said that Hezbollah said Safieddine was killed by "a criminal and aggressive Zionist raid" alongside other Hezbollah fighters. Meanwhile, Hezbollah said it launched drones towards a military base south of the north Israel city of Haifa on Wednesday.
Hezbollah said the attack came "in response to" Israeli attacks, and dedicated it to Nasrallah. About 85 rockets were fired from Lebanon into Israel, the IDF said, with a 50-year-old man critically injured in Nahariya. Fires broke out in the city of Kiryat Shmona following a separate attack that also caused visible damage, according to the city council.
Open your eyes, go back to God, and fulfill, your duty as His children. The war is too much to bear. Why cant you embrace peace to feel and see the beauty of the universe?
