The potent atmospheric river delivered as forecast,dumping unprecedented rainfall for a December day across Southern California. As of 8 PM on the 26th, downtown L.A. recorded 4.2 inches (breaking the 1926 record), Long Beach 3.8 inches, and Oxnard a staggering 5.7 inches.
