Homes Swept Away, Hundreds Missing: Flash Flood Engulfs Riverside Village In India's Uttarakhand

According to the report, dozens of people are feared trapped after a cloudburst triggered flash floods in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. Terrifying videos from the site of the accident show a giant stream of water gushing through the area and engulfing Dhanali, a small riverside village. Buildings fell like a pack of cards as the surging waters washed over them. The village was buried under the fast flowing mudslide of slush, rubble and water, as rescue teams battled heavy rains in the ecologically fragile heights to contain the damage.

It is so scary to watch the video, a monster flood swept away homes. There were many of them. I doubt if those inside their homes will survive from that deadly blow of flood gushing towards homes and properties.

I believe that all this is a result of lastctwo weeks tsunami that struck some part of Russia and United States. It iscthe after effect of the war that is causing all these flooding. My heart is with the Indians
