Truth be told, working entirely online demands a great investment of time. And a married person already has domestic responsibilities that are inevitable. How can a married person work 100% online and still meet up with domestic activities?

That's where planning comes in. In such a situation, you have to manage how you spend you time. A specific amount of time for your domestic responsibilities, then a specific amount of time for your online work. Some sacrifices has to be made.

I think that no matter how much you plan, if you don't have an understanding partner, it would be quite difficult for you to succeed working online as a married person.

Well said, your partner also have a role to play as well. Like myself am not married yet but am not living alone. Since i mostly work from home, those who i live with tend to make it difficult for me to fully handle all my gigs.

The key is time blocking. Set aside hours for your online work and treat them like a real job. Then dedicate specific time for housework and family. I found working early mornings before everyone wakes up really helps. Also, involve your spouse in the plan so both sides share the weight and adjust smoothly.

I am married with kids and I work from home. How do I do that? I have a home office where no one bothers me.
I think that is the best thing to do. Have you setup a sound proof system in your home office to block out external noise distractions?!
