How can someone that just started a business balance having to grow the business and the need to survive?

It is best to just have a job and start your business as a side hustle. You can use the job for basic survivals.

In cases like this, the entrepreneur needs to have self discipline, which means there are certain things they might have to let go. Then they could have some extra sources of income as well.

it is to do a bit of every thing but in moderation. you can't do without some essential expenses. Spend but it should be wisely.

For me, I lived with my parents when I started my business. I was surviving from them. I only left when my business was strong.

I think when the business is first started, the entrepreneur's priority should be how to keep the business survive. When sales and profits are stable, the entrepreneur can start thinking about growing or expanding the business.

If you as an entrepreneur still live with your parents, of course you don't need to think about how to survive and pay bills, but if you live alone, of course you have financial preparation for at least a month's personal needs, before the business can make a profit.

You don't have to be greedy with your business. You need to try to save. Save the profit you make a whole lot and reinvest them as much as you can

I always advise people to have savings that can take them for three months before coming to start a business full time.
