There are times that we put in our best to set up a team that we think would deliver the highest level of efficiency. Be that as it may, there might still be some weaknesses in that team.

How can a business leader check for and identify skill gaps in his staff team?
 
I think paying attention to customers feedback would let you know where your staff is lacking in the discharge of their jobs.
Yest right aside doing your research to know the gap that needs to be filled it is good to get feedback from the customers
 
The best thing to do is give them various task, this would help test their skills and how they handle certain things. There is nothing like the perfect team, the most important is understanding your team weaknesses and still find a way to work with that.

When you understand the weakness of your team, you would be able to maximize their strengths to cover up for their weaknesses.
