When you relate with someone that has a poor financial mindset, it might easily rub off on you. How can I identify someone that has a financial mindset so that we can avoid having close relationships with such people? What are the characteristics of such people?

That's a very good question, and honestly, it's something many people don't realize until they're already in a relationship (whether romantic, friendship, or business) with someone who has a negative financial mindset. In my experience, a person with a poor money mindset often has some pretty obvious traits: they constantly complain about not having enough, blame the system or others for their financial problems, spend without planning, and, above all, don't seek to learn or improve. They also often say phrases like "money doesn't matter" or "all rich people are bad," which shows a rejection of abundance.
Another sign is that they live only for the present, without thinking about saving, investing, or clear financial goals. If you want to protect yourself from that energy, surround yourself with people who talk about growth, who read, who educate themselves, and who see money as a tool, not an enemy. Mindsets are contagious—and it's wise to choose who you learn from.
