How did you managed the personal finances?

I have realized that most people in country have little to no knowledge with regards to the personal finances know-how and that is the main reason for their financial constraints for that matter.

I do not make a budget but I have a rough estimate of my earnings and expenditure every month. I never spend more than I earn. And I put a portion of my earnings into a fixed deposit account every month.

Since there is very less paid work online, I have more time to monitor my finances, keeping records of the money I receive from the investments and also the expenses, bills which I have to pay now and in future.
