For people that have been in managerial positions, they might have had to make the decision once to fire someone. I personally don't think I have what it takes to fire someone. Can you fire someone? How easy is it for you?

When a staff has clearly misbehaved, it would not be difficult to sign his sacking letter as the boss.

When I look at the countenance of a staff, I always find it very difficult to fire the remorseful ones.

It's going to be very difficult for me, and i hate to be in this category but in a situation where this is the only solution, i have no choice but to let that staff go.

Some managers may have developed positive relationships with employees, making the termination process emotionally taxing.
You don't use emotions to run any business. It is always bound to crash that way.
