The business of selling gold is a very solid business that I see people around my locality doing. It is one business that I would love to start by the side.

How do I get to start buying and selling of gold? How do I source for gold and where do I get to sell it?

ln my country, l hear about the politicians and people with high profile to be the most people that engage on that particular kind of business. Therefore l think that, that kind of business is very capital intense and it requires one to be highly connected before diving into that business.

Starting a business buying and selling of gold requires a lot of capital. You also need to know the right source to get authentic gold.
That's just it. The main thing is to take time and be an apprentice in the business for some years so you know your way around how to source for and price gold.

I’ve thought about getting into the gold business too, and it’s true—it’s a solid business. Most people start by learning the market price, finding reliable sellers, and understanding the types of gold like 24K or 18K.

A good way to get started is to connect with reputable jewelry stores, gold miners, or online marketplaces. You can also start small by buying from individuals who are selling on a whim, then selling for a profit to stores or direct customers.

It's indeed very important to know who your target customers are. I've learned that understanding their needs, purchasing habits, and financial capabilities helps you provide better service. This builds loyalty and strengthens sales in the long run.
