How do you define that you have wasted money on something you bought?

I believe that most of us have been in a position that we have convinced ourselves that we wasted money. For you, what would happen for you to believe or feel that you wasted money with a particular purchase?

Yes, there are times, though not always, that I bought something, especially clothing. When I look at it at home, I don't really like it and I seldom wear it. That is a waste of money.

When I buy something and I expect it to be useful to me and it ends up not being useful, I just accept that I have wasted my money.

It is when what I bought have no value afterwards. It shows that I just spent money on nonsense

I often consider things i bought as waste, in situations where at the end of the day, i no longer have need for it, or it did not function the way i would have hoped it would work.

For me, I know I’ve wasted money when the excitement of buying something disappears almost immediately, like I can’t even remember why I wanted it in the first place. That’s when I realize it was more about impulse than actual need.

I define myself as having wasted money on something I bought, only to realize it wasn't useful or I didn't need it. This often happens because of discounts, fitness subscriptions but rarely going to gyms, etc.

When I buy subscriptions that I end up not utilizing, I just know that I have wasted money and that is always very painful.

I think this happened to acoit of us. You just buy things for the satisfaction on the spot. Afterwards you don't fancy it

There are also times i have bought fast food like snacks only to end up not liking it, or i loose the urge to eat it, i immediately start regretting.
