There are so many cases of customers not collecting the orders due to one or two reasons. So how do online businesses handling the losses associated in transportation and logistics?
I'm afraid there's not much the owner can do if the customer does not collect the order. In my city, most online stores require customers to pay when placing the order. So, this uncollected order rarely happens.
In my country you pay a 50% percent deposit and normally that deposit covers purchasing of the order. Once you dont collect your order, they resell your order at a lower price so really they don't make a loss, the customer does
