How do you relate debt to the savings?

As we all know that most of debts comes in with some interests being charged on the borrowed amounts, So are we allowed to take loans for the purpose of making some savings? Like have you tried out that and what is your experience like?

If the interest rate on the loan is lower than the potential returns on savings, borrowing could be a wise choice

If loan interest rates were lower than savings interest rates, all banks would go bankrupt, because everyone would take out as large a loan as possible and save, and borrowers would profit from the difference in interest rates.

Well, for me it would not still be a bad idea provided you have made provision for how you would pay back.
