There are niches of products that you sell online in a particular location and it moves and those that won't move. Understand how the online behaviour or the demography works.

If you work in high demand niche, it will be easier to sell. But you also need to realize competition is high
When the niche is very trending niche and that which everyone is looking for, there would be more sales
By targeting the business niche market, one can tailor one's products or services to meet the specific needs of the audience.
I do not own an online business. A friend of mine run an online store. Her niche is to sell clothing and accessories imported directly from Japan and S. Korea. Many people here love clothing in these countries. She is making good money.
I think the feasibility business study here comes into being. The researches and due diligence is really very important before entering the particular niche.
