It is one thing to build a business. It is another thing to have your offspring develop interest in the business enough to want to take over from you when you retire. How can you as a parent make your child to develop interest in the business you have taken time to build?

My parents have a grocery store that operates as a retailer and agent, since I was little I have been used to doing small jobs such as packing merchandise etc. the bigger the bigger the responsibility and authority are given, so the best way to build a child's interest in business is to participate or jump directly into the business world.

The best way to make a child interested in your business is to give him or her responsibility in the business.

The best way is to start allowing them to participate in the business when they are free. If the offspring jave the knowledge of the business, they can easily adapt and join the business when they are adults. But sometimes, it is better not to force them but let them choose what they will love to do with their lives.

It is simple, indulge the child and find out if his interest revolves around that particular business. The child must be taught on how to go about certain things, this will keep the child curious. Be ready to spend money to upgrade the child's knowledge because so he won't get stuck and loose interest in the business.

It all depends on the child. Each person is unique in this world.

Start early by involving them in small, fun tasks so the business feels familiar. Share stories of its struggles and successes so they feel pride in it. Let them make decisions and see their ideas work. When they see purpose, impact, and personal reward, their interest grows naturally rather than feeling forced.
