The "Quiet Quit" is a situation where a staff stops working for you without any prior information or formal resignation. They just stop coming to work and it is after their absence has been prolonged that you realize they have quit working for your business. How do you feel and handle the Quiet Quit from staff?

It's usually very annoying or painful most times. Most times it tends to disorganize the business. This is why most employees usually sign contracts.

The "Quiet Quit" happens a lot in my country maybe in other countries too, as a business owner of course we must be aware of whether there is an employment contract agreement, if there is whether it has ended, if the employment contract is still valid then workers who do quiet quit can be subject to sanctions or fines. But if there is no employment contract then after more than 5 days of not coming to work without permission, then I consider it a resignation without notice.

If employees ignore employment contracts and leave quietly to another city, the company will easily report in various media that the employee's name and other identities have violated the employment contract, and then the employee will have difficulty getting a new job.

All of this is suitable for a big company. A small organization won't have that money to waste to do media campaign because of one employee.

If there is good cordial relationship between employer and employee such things rare happen. Sometimes! employee tend to use this "Quiet Quit" to punish the employer. If you treat your workers well and have friendly disposition towards them, they will always give you notice before quitting.
