So many of our gadgets are electronically powered and require chargers to be able charge them when battery power is low.

For these gadgets, does chargers with higher voltage and watts rating determine how fast the charger can charge a gadget till it is full?

It depends on the capacity. Let's take phones for example. Each smartphone comes with its own watts capacity. Like mine for example is a 10w charge. So if I should use a charger of 18w it will charge my phone but it won't make it faster cause my phone was built to withstand 10w. It might even end up damaging my phone if care is not taken.
