How Important is Monetization?

I see a lot of people not interested in monetization, they are running websites as a hobby project. They think ads will make their websites ugly. How important is website monetization for you? As s I am concerned, I give very importance to website monetization. I cannot run my websites without monetizing it.

That's very true. I know a lot of website owners who do not care about making money from their websites, however, for me monetization is very important.
