How long should a good laptop's battery lasts when being used expressively?

So how long should a standard laptop's battery should stay when being used expressively under normal circumstances?

It will depend on the brand and also the age of the laptop. I say that from my personal experience. I have a Dell laptop. When it was new, it could last for a little more than 75 minutes. But now it is six years old and the battery drains off within half an hour

A laptop that is still in optimal condition is supposed to have its battery last for about 6 hours at least.

I think that the six hours is very long time for one to use the laptop before the power comes back after an outage for that matter.

The battery of my laptop lasts 4 hours which is why, I always bring with me its charger in case it's on a lowbat mood.

I bet that laptop is still in a very good working conditions. Most laptops that l have come across lasts for less than three hours in most cases.
