Farming can be lucrative if done well, it's just a shame that the youths of today doesn't want to engage in farming. I think one of the reasons is that farming is viewed as difficult, unsafe work in the hot sun and it doesn't have the prestige or sophistication that the young people now want. But if more young people realised there is real money to be made from successful farms, especially things like vegetable, poultry or pig farming, they might see it differently. New technologies also make things easier than what their parents had to put up with. It's sad that less young people want farming careers as who will take over the land and feed us in future generations if interest in agriculture continues declining?

Most of our youths still tends to look down on farming, though most people are beginning to see how much potential farming and agriculture in general have.
Yes, some of them are now waking up to the truth and I believe hardship has contributed to that. Farming does not only feed you but makes you money and it's high time schools starts teaching this just like the way they teach A, B, C.

I remember back then when people are asked if they wanted to be a farmer, it feels .more like an insult to them, now things are changing, even the wealthy are going into farming.

Exactly, farming was looked down upon and we where brainwashed into thinking going to school to study medicine and law is the only way one can become rich and successful.

Haha, very true. Back then no one wanted to become a farmer or even study anything related to agriculture.

The good thing with the business is that the farming produce is very profitable. Farmers earn very huge profits on the selling of the farm produce.
That's true. They make a whole lot of money So if you want to go into farming don't hesitate if you have the energy
