It ultimately depends on the kind of business you are doing. Those that are operating street food business close as early as midday while those that sell groceries operate till very late at night.

In my milk tea selling business, I required my staff to close at 6 in the evening. The mall where 1 rented my business, closes at 8 in the evening and opens 9 in the morning so all in all 9 hours. I want my two sales staff to go home earlier.

My offline business starts from 8 AM and closes by 5 PM. My online business is open 24/7 daily. Though, i concentrate more in my physical business than my online business.

My business is open all day to take orders. Processing of orders happen from 6am to 5pm. Since it is an online business, I respond to orders anytime I see them, even at nights.

Online business are most likely to be open all day as you can do business at the comfort of your home , you may just enable DND mode before sleeping to avoid receiving calls when sleeping.

Running a business for 12 hours is suicidal. At most, a business should run for about 7 to 8 hours. There is what we call burn out.

What are you saying just 12 hours suicidal? How about business that's ran 24 hours the only thing is that the workers do shift but the business itself is ongoing.
