The conversion of probationary employee to permanent all depends on the company or business owners. In my place, it takes three years for an employee to become full time permanent. For a government office employee, it takes one year to become regular /permanent, but for those public school teachers though having item but it takes for them to receive their salary almost three years. Their salary will be accumulated from year 1 to year 3.

It might be different in your country.

In the Philippines, there is no six-month period for converting a probationary employee to permanent status. For a private company, it is three years, and for government offices, it is one year. I like to have 6 months' conversion of an employee status.

In my business, I already told my staff that there is no possibility to upgrade their work status to permanent. My business may not suffice for many years considering the competitors that surround my business location at this time. There is no stability.
