How much do they generally pay for being a beta tester for apps?

I have heard that some people get paid do offer beta testing for new apps that have been developed. How much do you think is the range that people earn through offering the services of beta testing for apps?

I think the very minimum that one can expect to earn from Beta Testing should not be anything less than $5 depending on the complexity of the app you are testing.
