Blogging is one of the popular ways to make money online, however, the truth is you cannot make a lot of money through blogging. Even if you might not be able to build wealth through blogging it can generate a decent income. You will have to do a lot of things on your blog to generate income, for instance, run an online store within the blog, or sell digital products and services. However, to generate sales you typically require a large daily traffic volume, which might be challenging to attain.
 
I earn nothing, but I have less than 20 articles that are not up to six months old in it. I plan to apply for Adsense when I have either 50/100 articles, or one hundred pages views per day.

You do not to monetize a blog, you just need a Publish0X account and publish articles there and get paid to OP to Binance or Kucoin wallet address, some upvotes every day let you reach half of dollar of OP.
 
Thank you for sharing your experiences,i currently do not have a blog but would love to.What about vocal.media does it count as a platform that can be making you some revenue?I really want to have something monetized this year and something i also love to do.
 
Unfortunately, I've not been active on my blog so I've not been working on it. Yes I agree it's difficult making money online so it's okay to still work on your blog despite earning peanuts.

Did you mean Discussion Hub where you are part of the administration team or it is another website you are talking about? Even if not approved in Google Adsense you could make part of other advert platforms for example.

A blog does not differ from a PTC site because you earn cents for every visitor or 0.3 $ for 1000 unique visitors or 0.007 $ per click. This amount of money does not even pay for hosting. Some platforms offer blogging and monetization like publish0X without the need to focus on creating your own hosted blog.
 
I have a blog and it's more of creative writing with some of my published pieces, poems etc. I am not very regular with posting there. It has got around 19 K views so far in all theses years ( must be seven years now). I have not monetized ot , but if there is a potential of earnings, I would like to do that. I have to explore avd learn about that.

That might sound less to begin with. Buy I have heard from many that the beginning of the journey may test your patience. It takes few months before the blog starts earning in cents. But then with consistency and good content, the earnings start picking up. Maybe your friend should have not given up so early.
I have my blog for more than six years and I am yet to monetize it. It is a lot of hardwork to get the traffic.

If you post in six months in publish0X you will earn no less than 12 $ especially if you post a post every day and gets upvoted 0,04 $ or 0,06 $ that is 1,2 $ to 1,8 $ per month if doesn't reach 0,10 $ or 0,30 $ in some cases. If you calculate 1,2 $ to 1,8 $ for 6 months that is 7,2 $ to up to 12 $ in 6 months. It is good for beginners but 4 $ doesn't serve even for hosting for website for 6 months.

Yes, there is a fees for hosting your blog. But some options are free like blogger, WordPress etc. i am not much experienced in that and I am not the right person to comment. But I assume that posting somewhere else will definitely pay but the payment would stay same for too long. Your money might start growing better on your own blog after some time. That's the impression that I get from reading other's comments. I might be wrong. I have to check publishOX. I have no idea about that.
 
I am not a blogger as I don't know if they earn good amount of money. I have thought of starting it but it will take time. That's true one can earn good only when the blog has lots of view on it and that will come only when the content is unique and written well.
