I own a poultry farm and power is a very important input in my business. The national grid is unreliable and I have to depend on generating my own power by myself.

While I pay $2 electricity bill for the national grid power supply monthly, I spend up to $10 to generate power for my business.

I think this is the major problem of Nigerian entrepreneurs. Energy is a huge problem in my country. The cost of electricity is neck breaking and moreover, the supply is not consistent. I spend over 21,000 naira monthly on power supply.

Electric bill gets worse for countries that don't have constant light. But you would have to spend more for your business power.

We have two aircons that eat up the current consumption, it's terribly hot here almost 47 degrees Celcius. It's really very bad temperature.
