Many people think that instead of opening their own minimarket shop, which has to start from scratch, especially in terms of branding, they think it is better to open a minimarket franchise. The reason is that mini market franchises already have well-known branding and are liked by many consumers, so you as a business owner don't need to build a brand image, it is also a safe investment and stable turnover. To run a mini market franchise business, we need to know the capital required first, taking the example of Alfamart, the most famous mini market in my country.

The estimated costs/capital required (excluding business areas) are divided into several groups:
Area/store 30 square meters $18,500
Area/store 60 square meters $ 21,500
Area/store 80 square meters $ 28,000
Area/outlet 100 square meters $31,000

The estimated cost/capital required above includes a franchise fee of $2,800, as well as outlet equipment such as shelves, air conditioners, etc. Are you interested in setting up a mini market franchise?

I have no skill in the business franchising a mini-market franchise. Maybe if I am married my husband would like and I am willing to support him financially hehe.
Mini markets have spread to small towns, and I am very interested in the minimarket franchise business, but according to several friends it is better to own your own area/outlet, not rent, if you rent every year or after a contract, the rent will increase.

It's true, the rent increments yearly. That's also my experience of the rent of my milk tea business in the mall. The rent increase it's shocking.

That is one of the big obstacles for business people who lack capital, because buying strategic land and buildings requires large capital.

Don't buy a big area. You may buy at least 600 square meters lot in the suburb. The price might be lesser. It's indeed an obstacle. It's better to rent a space for the mean time.

It is better to operate a mini-store suitable for your budget and make it big once your have a good profit. When you operate it through franchising, you need a huge capital.
The benefits of getting a mini market in franchise is that you are entrusted with a sure market because people already trust the franchisor.

My milk tea business is operated through franchising. I spent a capital for it at $ 2, 500. The more for the mini-market. I have learned from the store near a pharma that the franchise fee for the mini-market is $10,000.
