In my country, the price of sugar had been hicked in the beginning of the year. However, as time went by, the prices had really dropped to as low as $1 per kilogram.
How much is the price for sugar in your country?

More or less 2$ per kilogram, it's not too expensive if you look at the regular wages here.
I don't even know the price of sugar because I had ditched it as a sweetener. If sugar is very expensive, one can try honey.
In my country the honey and sugar are two different things altogether l must say.

For a refined sugar (white), the price a kilo is $6.For the centrifugal, the price is less, $4, and for the brown sugar ,the price is $1. I.
It's very surprisingly that you have so many types of sugar in your country. In my country the popular sugar is retailing at $1 for both of the white and brown sugar.

There are three kinds of sugar here in my country but I am not so sure if there are also three in the greater Manila area. In our region, there is a sugar plantation that supplies sugar throughout the country and others are exported.
Sugar is very expensive in my country. It is about $40 for a 50kg bag. I don't eat sugar so it doesn't bother me.
Last week I bought a kilo of it for 1500 naira that's should be about $2 per kilo which is not too bad a price
Here sugar usually will cost approximately half a dollar for a kilo, though share holders of some sugar companies getting some free sugar or at discounted rates.
That's how it should be . When you are a shareholder of a company you are just a part owner as well so you would get the products cheaper

The price of sugar has gone up, but it is still affordable here since you can buy it in measurements
As far as l am concerned, the government in my country has really stabilise the sugar prices to at most $1.5 for some time now. This seems to be a relief because it retailed higher that in the last reign of power
