Business people are to try and chase a potential customer to try and convince them to become patrons. But chasing a potential customer takes time, energy, focus and resources.

In light of that, how long is too long for you to spend chasing one potential customer with no tangible results?

If I make three attempts to make progress with convincing a potential customer and they still give me a cold shoulder, I put them in the freezer and go talk to other potential customers that might purchase. That's being practical.

I think when you are pouring too much resources on trying to get this said customers, more resources than what you might get back in the future.
