Ethereum is a currency with potential mainly due to its popularity, but not much more. Although it has the technology to create smart contracts and so on, there are many blockchains that are much better than Ethereum in terms of scalability, costs and efficiency, for example, Solana.

Ethereum has always been the second most popular Blockchain but I am seeing that it won't stay so for long.

There's no reason, Ethereum is a somewhat flawed blockchain, I think its time as a large blockchain is limited.
