How quickly are discrepancies in bank transactions get resolved in your country?

There are certain times that we go to the Atm stand and we are debited but the machine won't dispense cash to us. We would have to lay a complaint at the banking hall.

How quickly does all these issues with banking transactions get resolved in your country?

It depends, from what I have seen here, there is no specific time frame. In some cases it might take less than 24 hours, even less than an hour for cases like reversal of funds that was debited, then there are cases where this same reversal of funds will take more than one working days.

I totally try to avoid all these issues with bank transactions. They might just take forever to resolve.

I have never encountered such an issue. Should it occur, I think the bank should resolve it within 24 hours or sooner.

There are times that it takes seven working days for simple wrong debit to be resolved in my country.

Well, I can only speak about my bank. They do quickly rectify the issues provided you can provide all the evidence needed

My friend encountered almost the same incident, when withdrawing money at an ATM, he was debited twice and after confirming to the bank office it took about 3 working days, because the bank needed to examine the transactions at the ATM.

In Nigeria, it takes ages to get resolved or if it will ever be resolved. Nigeria banks are criminal minded institutions that are indirectly milking the masses dry. Honestly, central bank should do something about it.

When discrepancies happen with me bank transactions, I just get to the bank and I don't laugh with them. They resolve it immediately for me.
