Skimming is a form of ATM theft that involves stealing information, including the card number, PIN, CVC, and other data, from another user's card and duplicating it on another card. Criminals insert a skimmer into the pinpad or card slot of an ATM machine to capture the victim's PIN.
Although ATM cards are now equipped with chip technology, and we can withdraw money directly from our smartphones, sometimes we run out of data and are forced to use an ATM. So how can you avoid skimming?
