Cold wallets or hardware wallets have become a primary need for security, especially for crypto holders above $1000, and until now cold wallets are considered the safest place to store large amounts of crypto. There are various types of cold wallets out there, so it will be very confusing especially for beginners to get the best cold wallet, Here are some tips/ways to choose a cold wallet:
1. Pay attention to the storage capacity of the various types of crypto, cold wallets that can only store BTC and ETH are certainly cheaper.
2. How to connect to other devices, be it laptops, smartphones, etc., some use USB, Bluetooth and some only use QR codes.
3. The price of a cold wallet is often associated with the amount of crypto we have, if we have more than $6000 in crypto, I think it would be worth buying a cold wallet for $200.
