For some time I have been fully getting into the world of SEO and every time I realize that finding "quality keywords" is almost an art. The most popular tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs or Semrush show the same results as everyone consults, which makes competition for those Keywords very high. So, although one strives to create good content, it is often very difficult to highlight among thousands of pages that are already optimized for the same.
I have been thinking that the key may be to identify those words that have a good search intention, but that they are not yet oversized. For example, very specific terms (Long-Tail Keywords), local searches or even phrases related to trends that have not yet exploited too much. The problem is that it is not always easy to detect them in time, because when a trend begins to grow, it quickly saturates and becomes almost impossible to compete.
I also wonder if the best strategy is to analyze communities, forums, social networks or even frequent questions on platforms such as quora or reddit. Sometimes people express their doubts in different words to those that show the tools, and perhaps there is a little competition of Keywords but with great potential.
My goal is not only to position by volume, but also attract really interested traffic and with conversion possibilities. That is why I want to be more strategic when choosing.

What methods do you use to find "high quality keywords but with low competition" before everyone starts using them?
