I've been thinking a lot about the importance of backlinks for SEO lately, but not just any link will do. I've noticed that sites with real authority and solid content tend to boost rankings much better. For example, links from media outlets or blogs with in-depth, well-researched content seem to generate more traffic and improve your site's credibility, while low-quality or mass-generated links contribute almost nothing.
I'm wondering how to get more of these valuable links without relying on techniques that feel forced or unnatural. Would it be better to try collaborating with journalists or content creators who truly focus on analysis and serious information? I also think that if your content is useful and relevant, other sites are more likely to link to it on their own initiative, which would be ideal.
Ultimately, the idea is to build real authority and not just inflate link numbers. But I still struggle to differentiate between a quality backlink and one that merely appears to be useful to Google.
Has anyone had success getting backlinks from trusted sources and knows how to approach this type of strategy?
