Having a large number of loyal customers is more profitable than constantly increasing the number of new customers. Customer retention is not only a matter of retaining existing customers, but businesses must also create valuable and relevant experiences, thus fostering mutually beneficial relationships between businesses and customers. High customer retention not only maintains sales stability but also reduces marketing costs. Furthermore, loyal customers often recommend products/services to their friends and family, automatically increasing the number of customers and reducing promotional costs.

High customer retention indicates that a business is consistently meeting customer needs and expectations. Therefore, it is crucial for businesses to develop strategies to increase customer retention, but how?

If I see customer staying with me, know my service is acceptable on the street without any strings attached. That is, giving them gift or discount on the brand to give them their respect and prevent them from thinking of going to others.

Gifting your customers can enhance further patronage. Sometimes,a little discount can go a long way in retaining customers.

Any business that wants to retain customers should not think of using discounts as a major strategy. It might give opposite results.

Decrease the friction in your user journey and you'll increase engagement, acquisition, retention and customer loyalty
