How to Make Money on Linkedin?

Linkedin is one of the famous social networks and has millions of active members, also as a B2B promotion platform.
I have had a Linkedin account for a long time even though I am currently inactive, but after I read the post that we can also make money on Linkedin, but how, So in your opinion, how do people make money on Linkedin?

I am also a member of that site, but I am not active . I also have no idea on how to earn there. I submitted y credentials there before for a part time job but got no reply .

I have heard about people making money with the use of LinkedIn, some how gotten jobs or even high paying clients from there, but i have not done this personally.
