How to point your database to a new domain?

Many years ago, I was running a mental health forum but managing forum because hard and I shut it down. The domain I was using has expired. I have the forum database and I also have a new domain, so I want to restart a new forum by using this database. So, how do I point a new domain to this database. What changes do I need to made to be able ti run the forum with this database?

In order to point your database to a new domain you have to update the database configuration and references to reflect the new domain name.

Just point domain on hosting. Database and forum are on hosting and script and when you point domain on hosting, everything will be visible. Database is not related to domain.
